Charmy’s Supercharged Slippers

I had a special request for some Stillers (steelers) colored slippers! What perfect timing to get them done too! Those Stillers have a game TONIGHT!

I wanted to make them extra special instead of just hooking up another pair of what I always make, so I wrote my own pattern this time. This pattern is fast and easy to work up. It even has a little zing in color change.

ATTENTION. THERE WAS MAJOR MISCALCULATIONS AND ERRORS IN THE ORIGINAL POSTING OF THIS PATTERN. THE UPDATED AND CORRECT VERSION OF THIS PATTERN CAN BE FOUND. HERE

Pattern reviews

Sucker for slippers.

Let me start by saying I am such a sucker for good crochet slippers. I’ve made a pair for ever member of my family. Here is a recent pair made for my mum! The FREE pattern written by Tamara Kelly can be found HERE. At Mooglyblog.

IMG_0241-0.JPG. They turned out so cool. My mom loved them. Mom bias aside she said ;).

My next set, was a pattern I first picked up when I was a crochet virgin.
I wanted to make these for the longest time but I just wasn’t at the right level yet. 2.5 years later I tried my hand. Threw my own signature style on them of course

Voodoo bunny slippers! Now the sole is separate and had to be sewn on so they are extra cushy. The pattern I used was from a book entitled. Stitch n Bitch Crochet the Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller. The pattern was written by Shannon Murphee @ luckywings

I really enjoyed making slippers as usual. It’s been a busy week/weekend for me. I’ve entered a designer contest. I am also working on TWO new patterns. One free and one paid.

P.S. Stay tuned for a very special western themed pattern roundup on Friday!!!!!<
