Wavy Windjammer Tube Top

A few weeks ago I was on vacation in Ocean City Maryland. We absolutely social distanced. Only went to the beach when it was either early morning or during dinnertime when next to no one was there. We also stayed in a private house instead of a hotel/condo on Windjammer lane. Which is why I named this top the Wavy Windjammer. It felt so nice to just get away and have a change of scenery. It was super hot there so I HAD to come up with a fun summery top! I’m also fat. And I noticed a lack of fat friendly sizes in the crochet universe so I wanted to come up with a top that is all size Inclusive!Wavy Windjammer Tube topMade to size(I’m a 3x so I added specifics for that size below.)5.5 mm hook
Shell stitch is used. You can find a shell stitch tutorial here: shell stitch by The Spruce CraftsRed Heart Super Saver in three colors of your choosing. I will be calling them Color A: light teal Color B: dark teal Color C: Seafoam tealThis top can be made to fit any size. Of you have a smaller or larger chest the width may need to be adjusted. Use even numbers when chaining to obtain proper width. To obtain proper size you can measure bust with measuring tape or hook until front half of torso is covered. You can continue the entire way around or switch colors for the fishnet stitch for the back as the patternn suggests.Front:FRONT(shell stitch)1.)With color A, Ch50
Sc in 2nd Ch from hook and the rest of the Ch across(50sc) ch1 turn
2.)sc in first so, skip 2 sp, shell stitch, skip 2 sp, sc. Repeat across. Ch1. Turn
Change to color B
3.)shell stitch, skip 2, sc. Repeat across alternating colors.Repeat rows 2 then 3 until front panel on both sides reach underneath the armpit area(where back begins), or continue shell stitch until top fits snuggly around torso. (I’m a 3x and I did 75 rows of shells)If you use red heart super saver the top will have some give so stopping at this point is recommended but not required.BACKI Slst the two sides together.πŸ§œπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™‚οΈπŸ§œπŸ»β€β™€οΈTrim:(optional)Working along the top of the tube top.
