Colored Eggs Brimmed Beanie

When I was a little girl, the neighborhood girls and myself would play this game called Colored Eggs. We would all choose a favorite color while one of us would play the wolf. The wolf would ask us one by one if our favorite color was “purple, move on to the next egg with another single color in mind and so on”. If the color was right, the egg(girl) would take off running to home base to be safe. If the wolf tagged the egg before the egg reached base, that egg would become the wolf and the game would continue. This hat was inspired by the game colored eggs and my friends that I have known for ages!  It’s made up of the most popular colors we would choose when we played

The cool part is this hat comes in three sizes too! 0-3month, 3-6month, 6-12month.

Sweet Snowball Earflap Hat

I have been nesting like crazy and whipping up baby hat after baby hat!  One thing I noticed was that when my kids were babies, they always needed more hats and outgrew them super fast. I’m prepared to avoid that this time around. I decided to make a varying size baby hat pattern to share!

Disclaimer: if you chose to attach braids or ties make sure to NEVER leave your baby unattended with the hat and use only as a prop. Ties/and or braids can cause a choking and strangulation hazard. This was my reasoning behind not attaching any form of strand like fasteners.
